Each week the lovely people at @globaldesignproject team set a challenge. I find these challenges are really good when I can’t settle on what card or project when I’m sat at my craft desk.
This week they set the challenge of ‘winged things’ – here’s what I came up with
The birds are from the Birdhouse stamp set, but as I wanted to make this related to a recent engagement I’d heard about I needed another one in the opposite direction. It’s a really simple technique where you stamp you image in water based ink on a silicone mat and then press the card stock on top of it to pick up the image. You then stamp as normal on your card stock to get the normal stamped image.
